Although predictable, the story was well-written. Danielle is a young woman who along with her handicapped brother Jimmy ends up with a gang. The ringleader ,Sutton, is asking her to do more and more criminal acts. One day, she is told to act as a ruse in an attempted bank heist. Unfortunately, she is caught but a kind woman offers her a job and a place to stay. The kind woman's son Blake doesn't believe Danielle's story. Danielle starts getting comfortable in their house almost forgetting her brother. She ends up being the lead actress in his play/musical. The book would be a nice read if you are looking for something not so taxing on your brain.
