About the Author
Stephen J. Binz (SSL, Pontifical Biblical Institute, Rome) is a popular speaker and the highly regarded author of over two dozen books. He is the former director of Little Rock Scripture Study, used in churches throughout the world, and founder and author of Threshold Bible Study. He is also the former editor-in-chief of God's Word Today magazine and is a licensed psychotherapist. Binz lives in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

This Scripture Study uses the Lectio Divina Method of reading Scripture. Mr. Binz's writing is very inspiring and written in a way that all our participants could understand and enjoy. We would definitely recommend sharing this with your study group!

Excellent book, touched my heart. This book took me on a spiritual journey. I highly recommend it to those who are thirsting for the prescence of God. I recommend you take your time and do a section every week so that it allows you time to meditate on the message.

Excellent synopsis of Abraham's life covering both the old and new testaments. Commentary is similar to what you would find in JPS commentary on Genesis.
