About the Author
Mary Connealy writes romantic comedy with cowboys. She is a Christy Award finalist and a Carol Award winner. She is the author of the Lassoed in Texas Trilogy, the Montana Marriage Trilogy, and the Sophie's Daughters Series.
Mary lives on a Nebraska ranch with her husband, Ivan, and has four grown daughters: Joslyn (married to Matt), Wendy, Shelly (married to Aaron), and Katy. And she is the grandmother of two beautiful grandchildren.

Great Romance

Buffy loves buffalo. She's been taking care of them since she was twelve. Now she has a job working with a large herd of the animals, and she loves it. But she has a major problem. Wyatt Shaw, a rancher who believes the buffalo are a threat to his ranch, wants to get rid of the entire herd. They're on opposite sides of this argument and neither one will give an inch. Then a lightning flash stampedes the herd and Buffy and Wyatt have a big problem on their hands.
Buffalo Gals is loaded with excitement, fun, and romance. It even has six-year old twin boys to keep things moving. I read this in one afternoon. Romance fans will love it.

Buffaloed into Love!!

If you find a book with Mary Connealy's name on it - any book - you better pick it up! Without question, anything this woman writes will bring a smile to your lips and a thump to your heart. As will Buffalo Gal - the clever tale of veterinarian Buffy Lange who's landed the job of her dreams managing a huge buffalo ranch in the rugged hills of South Dakota. Buffy has a vision to see the West's beloved buffalo once again free-ranging the West, but headstrong rancher Wyatt Shaw has other ideas for these beautiful but untamed animals that he sees as a threat to the safety of his ranch. Little does he know that the only threat he faces is that of losing his heart to the beautiful, young vet on the next ranch. Another delightful read from Mary Connealy.

I loved it

We live in an ever changing world. No longer is this nation primarily agrarian. People have time and finances today which change the focus and view. We've always known it was good to "eat your vegetables" but it used to be we ate what was put before us and we needed to "clean our plate because "someone who lived in China or India or Africa was starving". Animals were cherished because they provided food or help with the work. It was not as though they could not be loved as a companion but unlike today that was not their primary function. This story was built around the awareness of the issues and circumstances that daily confront those who live with the land. Nicely done.
